Customers & credit
Save your customers, track what they owe, collect payments, and see each customer's statement.
This is where you keep your customers and follow credit (آجل) sales. Each customer has an account built from their credit sales, payments and returns, and you can see every entry on their statement.
Where to find it
In the menu: Sales → Customers.
The page shows for people with See customers or Manage customers and credit. Adding and editing customers and recording adjustments need Manage customers and credit. Collecting needs Collect customer payments.
The customer list
At the top are Total receivables and Customers who owe (and how many are over limit). Tap either one to show only customers who owe, biggest first.
Search by name or phone, and pick All or Owing. Each customer shows their balance: Owes means they owe the shop, Credit means they have money with you, and Settled means zero.
Add a customer
Tap New customer
On the Customers page, tap New customer.
Fill in the details
Name is required. You can also add Phone, Credit limit (leave empty for no limit), Address and Notes.
Save
Tap Save. The customer's page opens.
You can also add a customer at the POS while selling, with just a name and phone. A new customer is also saved when you receive a repair for them.
Selling on credit
Credit sales are made at the POS: pick the customer, then choose On credit in payment, or Split with part on credit. You need the Sell on credit (آجل) permission.
If the customer has a Credit limit and the sale would go over it, the cashier sees a warning and can continue or go back. Customers over their limit are marked Over limit.
Customer page
Tap any customer to see:
- Their balance: Owes, In credit, or All settled.
- Aging: what they owe split by age (0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days).
- Recent sales.
- Their Statement.
From here you can Call them or send a WhatsApp reminder with a ready message that includes what they owe. That button shows when they owe money and have a phone number. Tap the pencil icon at the top to edit their details.
Collect a payment
Tap Collect payment
On the customer's page.
Enter the amount and method
Enter the Amount, then under Received how? pick Cash, Wallet or InstaPay and the account the money went into. You can add a Note.
Record it
Check Owes now and After this, then tap Record payment. The money goes into the account you chose.
Opening balance and adjustments
For old balances from your notebook, tap Opening / adjustment:
- Pick Opening balance or Adjustment.
- Pick Increase what they owe or Decrease what they owe.
- Enter the Amount and a Reason (required), then tap Record.
This doesn't touch the cash box; it only changes the customer's account.
Statement
Every entry on the customer shows here with the date, who made it and the balance after it: Credit sale, Payment, Return, Refund, Opening balance, Adjustment and Reversal. Entries that come from a sale, a return or a repair deposit link to it.
Reverse an entry
If an entry was wrong, tap Reverse under it and enter a reason. Nothing is deleted. A Reversal entry is added and the old one is marked Reversed.
- Reversing a Payment needs Collect customer payments, and the money is also taken back out of the account.
- Reversing an Opening balance or Adjustment needs Manage customers and credit.
- Credit sales are cancelled by voiding the sale in Sales.
