Notifications
Alerts about low stock, shift shortages, due payments and risky sales, inside the app and on your phone.
Mobilat tells you when something needs your attention, like an item running low or a shortage when a shift closes. You see these in the app, and you can also get them as push notifications on your phone.
Where to find it
Open the account menu (your name or photo) and tap Notifications, or go to Settings → Notifications.
Read your notifications
The list shows the newest first. Unread ones are in bold with a dot.
- Switch between All and Unread.
- Tap a notification to mark it read. If it's about something specific, it opens that page.
- Tap Mark all read to clear them all.
What triggers a notification
| Event | Who gets it |
|---|---|
| Items running low | Purchasing |
| Shift close variance (shortage or surplus) | Shift supervisors |
| Recurring expense due (rent, electricity…) | Expenses |
| Supplier payment due | Purchasing |
| A sale was voided | Finance |
| Sold below cost | Margin viewers |
Each person only gets what matches their permissions and branches. For example, "Purchasing" means people who can see purchases. See Team and roles.
Push notifications on your phone
Push notifications reach you even when the app is closed. You turn them on for each device separately.
Turn them on
Under Push on this device, turn on the switch.
Allow them
When the browser asks for permission, choose Allow.
Test it
Tap Send a test notification. It should arrive in a few seconds.
To stop them on this device, turn the switch off.
First add Mobilat to your Home Screen (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from there. This needs iOS 16.4 or newer. See Install the app.
If you said no earlier, the switch is disabled. Open the site settings (the lock icon next to the address), set notifications to Allow, then come back.
Some browsers can't receive push notifications. You'll still see every notification inside the app.
