Owner withdrawals

Record money you take out of the shop for yourself. It reduces your cash, not your profit.

When you take money out of the shop for yourself, record it here so the cash box and wallets stay right. Withdrawals aren't expenses: they don't reduce profit, but they do reduce cash.

Where to find it

In the menu: Money → Owner withdrawals.

Recording and reversing withdrawals need Record owner withdrawals. People with See profit and finance can open the page and view it.

Record a withdrawal

Tap New withdrawal

On the Owner withdrawals page.

Enter the amount

Type the Amount.

Pick where it was taken from

Under Taken from, the cash box is picked for you. You can pick another account. If the amount is more than the account holds, you'll see More than this account holds.

Date and note

The Date is today unless you change it. Add a Note if you want, then tap Save withdrawal.

The amount comes off the account you picked. With more than one branch, the withdrawal is recorded on the branch you're working in.

See the month

Pick the month at the top. You see Withdrawn this month and the list of withdrawals. With more than one branch, pick All branches or one branch.

Reverse a withdrawal

If you recorded one by mistake, tap the undo icon next to it, enter a Reason and tap Reverse. Nothing is deleted: a reversing entry is added and both stay visible. The withdrawal is marked Reversed and the money goes back to the account.

In your reports

The profit report shows Owner withdrawals under net profit, marked Doesn't reduce profit. So you can see what the shop earned and what you took out, side by side.
