Settings and branches
Shop details, logo, location, branches, receipt footer, selling policies, and the app's look.
The Settings page holds everything about your shop: its name and address, branches, what's printed on receipts, and the rules the point of sale follows.
Where to find it
Go to Settings in the Admin section of the menu. On a phone, tap More in the bottom bar first.
At the top you'll find links to My account, Public shop page, Notifications, Team & roles, Wallets & fees and Audit log (each shows only if you're allowed to open it).
Anyone can view Settings, but changing them needs the Change shop settings permission. Without it, the fields are read-only.
Shop details
Under Shop details you can edit:
- Shop name (required)
- Phone
- Governorate, City / area, Street address and Google Maps location (see below)
- Receipt footer: printed at the bottom of every receipt, for example your exchange policy.
- Logo (optional): tap Choose to upload an image, or Remove to take it off.
When you change something, Save and Discard appear at the bottom of the section. The same phone, address and logo are used on your shop page.
Add your Google Maps location
Pick the Governorate first, then the City / area (you can search in Arabic or English). If your area isn't listed, pick the nearest one and add details in Street address.
To add the map pin:
Open Google Maps
Find your shop on Google Maps, or drop a pin on its location.
Tap Share
Tap the place, then Share.
Copy the link
Choose Copy link. It looks like https://maps.app.goo.gl/....
Paste it
Paste it into Google Maps location and save.
The link must point to a place. A link to a search page or to Google Maps' home won't save, and you'll see "That's not a location link". Share links (maps.app.goo.gl) and links with coordinates both work.
Branches
The Branches section lists all your branches. The note at the top shows how many branches your plan includes and how many are active.
Add a branch
Tap Add branch. Enter the Branch name, Governorate, City / area and Street address (all required), plus an optional Phone and Google Maps location. Tap Save.
Edit a branch
Tap the pencil icon next to the branch.
Close a branch
Turn off the switch next to it and confirm. It disappears from selling and stock, but its history stays and you can turn it back on. At least one branch must stay active.
If your plan is full, Add branch is disabled until you close a branch or move to a bigger plan. On the Wallets plan you can keep adding branches, and the app shows the monthly amount each extra branch adds. See Plans and trial.
Policies
These rules apply at the point of sale. Each one saves as soon as you pick it.
- How is profit % shown?: Margin (of price) shows profit as a percentage of the selling price; Markup (on cost) shows it as a percentage added on top of cost. Example: cost 75, price 100 = margin 25% / markup 33%.
- Selling below cost: Allow sells with no warning. Warn shows a warning the cashier must confirm, and you get notified. Block stops it unless the person has the Sell below cost permission.
- Selling with no stock: Allow sells even if stock shows zero. Warn warns and lets them continue. Block means they can't sell what isn't in stock.
- Dead stock after how many days without sales?: from 7 to 720 days. Used in the dead-stock report.
Tax and e-invoicing
Under Tax & e-invoicing you can save your Tax registration no., Commercial register and Activity code. They aren't used yet. They're saved for when e-invoicing (ETA) is connected.
Subscription
Shows your plan, trial days left, and how to pay or renew. See Plans and trial.
App and theme
Under App:
- Install the app: see Install the app.
- Theme: Light, Dark or Auto (follows your device).
To change the language, use My account or the account menu. See My account.
On the Wallets plan, Policies, Tax & e-invoicing and the Public shop page link don't appear.
