Cash & wallets
Your cash box, wallet lines (Vodafone Cash, e& cash, Orange Cash, WE Pay), InstaPay and banks, with live balances, wallet transactions, transfers and corrections.
This page holds every place your money sits: the cash box (the drawer) and each wallet line, InstaPay account or bank. Mobilat doesn't move any money. You send and receive from your phone as usual, and you record it here so the balances stay right.
Where to find it
In the menu: Money → Cash & wallets. On the Wallets plan the menu item is called Wallets.
The page shows for people with See cash box and wallets or Do wallet transactions. Balances need See cash box and wallets (or See profit and finance). Recording wallet transactions and transfers needs Do wallet transactions. Adding accounts and setting fees needs Manage accounts and fees. Opening balances and corrections need Adjust balances.
What you see
- At the top: Total on hand, the sum of all active account balances.
- Three tiles for today: Today's tx, Volume (marked Not sales) and Net commission (after fees). Wallet money isn't counted as sales. Only your net commission is income.
- A card for each account with its balance, what came In and went Out today, and the daily and monthly limit bars if the line has limits.
- Recent wallet transactions, with the commission you made on each one.
Tap Ledger on any card to open its Account ledger: the Opening and Closing balance for the period, totals In and Out, and every movement. You can filter by All, In or Out.
Add accounts
Tap Accounts & lines. The list has two parts: Wallets, InstaPay & banks, and Cash box. Each branch starts with one cash box. A cash box and a wallet line use separate forms.

At the bottom of Accounts & lines.
Pick the type
Wallet, InstaPay or Bank.
Fill in the details
For a wallet, pick the Network first (Vodafone Cash, e& cash, Orange Cash, WE Pay). Then enter a Name (for example "Vodafone Cash 1") and the Line number. For InstaPay, enter the IPA or number. For a bank, enter the Bank name and an optional Account number.
Set limits (optional)
Wallets and InstaPay can have a Daily limit and a Monthly limit. Leave them empty to use the network's limit.
Save
Tap Save.
Add another cash box
If you have a second drawer in the same branch (for example a repairs drawer), tap Another cash box next to Cash box. It only needs a name.
To stop using an account, open it and turn off Active. It disappears from the cards but its history stays.
Set the opening balance
When you start using Mobilat, enter what's already in each account.
Open the menu
Tap the ⋮ button at the top, then Adjust / opening balance.
Pick the account and Opening balance
Choose the Account, then Opening balance.
Enter the amount
Enter the money that was there when you started, then tap Save.
Record a wallet transaction
Tap a wallet card, or the Transfer button. The sheet reminds you: Bookkeeping only — send from your phone as usual.
Pick the direction
Deposit / send: you send money from your wallet to the customer and take cash. Withdraw: money arrives on your wallet and you give the customer cash.
Pick the wallet and enter the amount
Choose the line, then enter Amount to send or Amount received on the wallet.
Check commission and fee
Commission and Network fee fill in from the network rules. You can change them.
Record
The sheet shows the cash to take from or give to the customer, and Your net (commission minus fee). You can add a Customer phone (optional). Tap Record.
For a deposit, the cash you take is the amount plus your commission. For a withdrawal, the cash you give is the amount minus your commission. The cash goes to or comes out of the cash box.
If a transaction would go over the line's per-transaction, daily or monthly limit, you'll see This goes over the wallet limit. If you're sure the network allows it, tap Record anyway. You'll also get a warning if the books show too little in the wallet or the cash box.
Reverse a transaction
Tap the transaction, then Reverse transaction and enter a reason. It's marked Reversed and its money is put back. A cashier can reverse their own transactions from the same day. Someone with Adjust balances can reverse any transaction.
Network fees & commissions
From the ⋮ menu, tap Network fees & commissions. For each network, and for each direction (Deposit / send and Withdraw), set:
- Network fee you pay: what the network takes from you.
- Your commission from the customer.
Each one can be None, Percent or Fixed, with an optional Minimum and Maximum. You can also set Network limits per transaction, per day and per month. A line's own limit overrides the network's. These are Suggestions at the counter; the cashier can change them.
Transfer between accounts
To record money moving between your own accounts (for example cash loaded into a wallet through an agent), tap ⋮ then Transfer between accounts. Pick From and To, enter the Amount and any Fee (if any), then tap Record transfer. The fee is taken from the sender and counted against your wallet income.
Fix a balance
If the real balance doesn't match the books, tap ⋮ then Adjust / opening balance and choose Correction. Enter the Actual balance now. Mobilat shows the Difference to record. A Reason is required.
The Wallets plan
On the Wallets plan you only get wallet and InstaPay lines, without shop management. The cash box is still there because every wallet transaction moves cash. See plans.
